Small A/C Repair | ||
I used this 12VDC Omron Relay to drive the compressor on a small A/C unit mounted in the roof of a travel trailer. The original compressor relay coil may still have been connected to the output of the thermostat. The addition of this relay pulled down the thermostat voltage. By use of a Solid State relay 18193 RL as an input device to the coil, signal loading was prevented, and the A/C unit was returned to service.

Electronic A/C repair | ||
Travel trailer 110 volt a/c needed a relay to turn the compressor on and off via the thermostat. This relay loaded the thermostat signal excessively. Added solid-state relay 19059 RL to feed this relay. This relay handles the compressor load very well. With a stronger signal this relay would be excellent.
