Great motor for extremely fine stepping action
This motor employs a geared reducer on its output which reduces step angle to 0.1 degrees or 3600 steps per rotation. Although there is some backlash in the gear reducer, very fine stepping can be obtained if the shaft is loaded. The listing mentions that the gear on the shaft is non-removable but I found that a small amount of heat via a torch, applied to the gear will allow one to slip it off. Only wish MPJA supplied a bracket for this size stepper motor. Used but in good condition.
