As of August 2018 the State of California has changed the requirements of the “Prop 65” law. We now must list on our website any possible chemicals the can cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive problem.

Good value for beginner or hobby work, but its fragile. | |
| For the price, you get a pretty decent soldering station for beginners, light duty and hobby work. Beats the heck out of a pencil iron from Radio Trash. On the downside, be careful with it. The plastic grip can get uncomfortably warm. The handle and base unit case are made of thin, weak plastic and neither part will tolerate being dropped. As far as I have seen, the replacement handle has not been in stock here for at least 3 years. | ||
