Nice Enclosure With One Little Issue | |
| This enclosure works really well for some of the MPJA modules, such as the 35800TE. I laid out a PCB for some additional electronics, connectors, etc. and noticed one very annoying issue. The four PCB mounting standoffs at either end of the box are 4 mm higher than the four in the middle. Just...why? I had to purchase some 4 mm clearance spacers for the middle standoffs. Also, its not particularly clear from the print, but youll want to use M2 x 6 self tapping screws on the standoffs that DONT require spacers, and obviously M2 x 10 on the ones that do. Those figures are assuming a standard 1.6 mm PCB thickness. | ||
