Detailed Description

Digital Temperature Sensor Probe for Microcontrollers
6mm X 50mm waterproof Stainless Steel Shell uses the popular DS18B20 temperature SPI sensor. Features: High accuracy (+/-0.5C) over –10 to +85C range. Each device has a 64bit factory ID allowing multiple units on a single control line. User defined, programmable alarms, temperature resolution of 9 or 12bits. The sensor uses the standard “Dallas 1-Wire” serial interface. Can be connected directly to your 3.3V or 5V micro controller. Many uses in HVAC, weather monitoring, process control etc. The net is loaded with examples, code and projects. RoHS Conpliant.

Good for a thermometer
Paired with an LCD screen, this probe would work good as a hoemmade thermometer.
