I ordered these for some crystal radio projects I had in mind, but was extremely disappointed to find only one diode working out of the pack of 10. Using a magnifier, it looks as if there was corrosion inside the glass envelopes. Im not sure if these were very old stock that had deteriorated over time, or Chinese junk parts, but with level of failure, Im not surprised that they are no longer available. The one diode that DID work had what I consider to be a fairly high forward voltage drop around .5 volt at 100 uA, not the .2-.3V Id expect for a germanium part. I am pleased that MPJA refunded my money with no problems.
