Works very well but check color sequence
These work very well when driven by the Arduino NeoPixel library software. Color and brightness of each LED is controlled by 3 integer values one for each primary color with a range of 0-255. Thats 16777214 colors plus black and white. The LED chips are super-bright type and 255 equates to about 20mA per chip which is VERY bright! Using 25-50 is plenty for direct viewing of the diffused LED. I noticed two anomalies with the units I received: 1] When power is first applied, the Blue chip turns on at full brightness until my software begins to run. 2] Red and Green data is swapped from what the included spec sheet describes. Other useful info: A] LEDs self-refresh at approx 278Hz. Multiple LEDs are not synchronized. B] Brightness is controlled by internal PWM. Peak current is ~64mA regardless of the brightness settings except zero.
