Won't work with 5 V Arduino UNO!
This is just my experience, but... this device will NOT work with a 5 V Arduino like an UNO or Nano. It can use 3.3V or 5V power, but ONLY 3.3V logic, which an UNO won't do without a separate level shifter module. There are UNO-compatible boards that have switchable 3.3/5V logic. I use SEEEDSTUDIO's V4.3 board.

Gives accurate heart rate
Used against a real heart rate monitor and the readings were identical.
