Button remains depressed in the “ON” position.
Switch & LED have Separate Terminals
12V AC/DC rated Red LED
Action: SPDT On-On Alternate (Push-On, Push-Off)
Contacts: 5A @ 250VAC.
Solder/Socket Terminals.
Socket For Switch: ORDER 37596 PL
Mounts in a 3/4” hole.
Dia: 7/8" Mtg.: 3/4" hole L: 1-1/2”O/A WT: .04

The Illumination is 12-24 VAC, not DC
Its a very attractive button and the illumination is very even. The description says the LED is 12 VDC but it actually is wired for 12-24 VAC operation. The indicator draws about 4 mA at 12 VDC, 7 mA at 24 VDC.
