Useful addition to my soldering gear
Great microscopic camera for the price. My Win10 PC found it with no hassles. The unit weighs very little, and the included base holds it firmly, but before I put this into service on my bench I will engineer a more flexible mounting solution--some kind of boom arm or gooseneck. The built-in LED assembly is plenty bright, but I may add some additional lamps just to achieve full illumination from all angles.

Work With Windows 10 | ||
I had no issues getting the camera to work with Windows 10. Only issue is the mounting and base supplied. Going to mount it on a better mount. Nice and dose what I need it to do. A good value.
Great for the price, works in Win10 and Android
Dont bother with any bundled CDs or manufacturer drivers. This USB camera shows up in Windows 10 Enterprise and can be used with the Win10 Camera app. Youll have to select USB 2.0 Webcam first. I also verified that it works well with Android 7.1.1, using the MScopes app.

Works great on Windows 10
For 20 bucks this thing is great. I dont know why there are bad reviews about it being hard to setup. I just plugged it into my laptop and opened the Windows 10 camera app and it worked. I also installed the manufacturer software and it worked fine too. I downloaded the software from the manufacturer website and didnt use the included CD because my laptop has no optical drive. The manufacturer software has some basic measurement tools that can be calibrated with the included calibration sheet for measuring feature sizes in images. The only weak point is the stand which is pretty flimsy.
Nice camera for the price
I had no trouble installing software on Windows 10. This microscope allowed me to repair the T-Con board in a Samsung TV. Overall, the repair only cost $30 camera plus ICs. Bargain!!!

Nice digital microscope camera
This very inexpensive digital camera works amazingly well! Came with a CD, but I down loaded software from their website. Installed easily and seems to work perfectly in my Windows 10 system.

Does not work under Windows 10
As others have commented, trying to get this to work under Windows 10 is virtually impossible. I have tried both running as Administrator as well as installing under various Window compatibility modes without success. If you have an ancient Windows machine, this is probably a great product, otherwise save your money.

Works on W10 and Android, too.
The sales info on this device only says it works with Windows 7 and earlier, and nothing about tablets. I took the chance. I have not tried the Chinese software the instructions cite, but the camera works well on a Windows 10 laptop if you run it with the built-in WebCam software without the zoom feature. I also found a USB webcam app for my Galaxy Android tablet that will run it, allowing me to take it out to my beehives to inspect eggs and larvae. The resolution is OK considering the low price, and the image is great.

Windows 10 Software Installation
I bought a similar product that probably had the same software, which excluded Windows 10. I had no problem installing the software when installing it using the Windows Compatibility Mode. Heres how. Right click on the .exe file. Then click on Properties. Go to the Compatibility tab. Then select Run this Program in Compatibility Mode. I did not have to select the version. You might.

Setup is not for the faint hearted
Nice unit at a good price but getting the software to run is VERY diificult on Windows 10. Instructions are less than clear. Almost need the microscope to read the enclosed Simple Operation Guide as the text is very small. The pictures in the English version of the online manual are in Chinese makijng it difficult to know what you are supposed to be seeing. I had to rename the HiView executable removing all the Chinese characters before W10 would run it to install the software. That wasnt mentioned anywhere. I would probably still be trying to make it work if not for help in the other reviews here. Still trying to figure out how to make it zoom. I would rate this a 4 or 5 if the instructions were clearer and more detailed. Be prepared to put in some effort to get this software installed and working. Its worth it though, when you do get it running.
Run on W10 | ||
My family IT guru opened Camera standard in W 10 and it works great up to 680 X 420. Laptop camera is default, plug in and select other camera. Light dimmer on cord. Internal lenses can be removed, maybe attach to an old film camera fixed focus lens to make a telescope.

AVG Flags SoftwareAs Virus
AVG anti-virus quarantines this in both of my computers: Windows 10 and Windows 8.1. Web description of the virus says may be false positive, but maybe not. Not worth taking the chance.

Camera works on 64 bit Windows
I reviewed this camera previously and could not get it to work on my 64 bit Windows machines. It does work with the provided software so long you go to Settings, Privacy and allow applications to access it. That is what disabled it before.
Works fine but no under Windows 10
I could find no software which would make this work under Windows 10 64 bit. It showed it was there, but nothing would talk to it. There is some idea that if you turn off unsigned driver detection it might work, but I didnt want to turn off that safety feature. I installed the software on an old XP laptop and it worked immediately. For the price it is great, if you have an old machine available.
